Brand-new parents Iris and Tom rely on Sunware boxes
With the arrival of baby daughter Nora, Iris and Tom's long-cherished dream came true. The happy baby immediately brought much joy into their lives. But the family expansion was tough too. Especially with all those short nights. Unfortunately, Sunware products cannot change that. But our organizers do help keep an overview in the baby's room. And that in turn ensures more safety, peace and better hygiene.Nora was born on a rainy Tuesday night in November. "Fortunately, we were inside at the time, in the hospital," Tom says. Of a rainy mood, his first child has little to no trouble. "I don't want to claim that Nora is always cheerful. But her bottle is half-full in most cases by far. She babbles a lot and has these infectious fits of laughter. We are also getting more and more in touch with her, which is very nice."
The challenges of parenthood
It is early afternoon. Meanwhile, in the semi-detached house in Raamsdonksveer, Brabant, Nora has fallen asleep. It gives Iris a chance to sit down. "We are overjoyed with our daughter," she begins to explain. "Like probably most mothers, I think my baby is the sweetest there is. But it's tough sometimes, you know. Especially in the beginning. I had read a lot of articles preparing young parents for what is to come. But you really have to experience it to find out. Night feeds, nap times, unplanned changing times and so on. It takes getting used to, but we do it with love and joy." Tom nods affirmatively.Neat and tidy
Iris describes their daughter's room as classic. "It's a typical girl's room with mostly pink. It's sweet and playful, with animals so Nora always has company. It's nice and organized, thanks in part to the Sunware products. The dresser and cabinets are pretty full of them. Super convenient! As you can imagine, diapers or rompers need to be within easy reach. Especially with a mobile Nora on the dresser. And do we bathe her? Then it's nice to have the right product in one move. Take our shower gel, baby shampoo, oil, talcum powder and body lotion, for example. We store these in a transparent storage box. That way you can easily see what, what is what. Ideal, because those yellow bottles all look alike."Iris continues: "That doesn't mean her room is a collection of all transparent boxes. We combine those with the Sigma Home line. The lids of these are also available in all kinds of fun prints. With that, Nora's room is not only practically arranged, but also immediately nicely decorated."
Don't lie awake
Tom: "Of course, we also think it's important for Nora to have a safe room. Especially when she starts playing there a little more. She is flighty and rather curious. The latter she probably got from her mother. It is certainly not the intention that she should get her hands on all sorts of bottles while exploring. Or putting toys in her mouth. Sunware's organizers are easy to close, so we don't have to worry about that. Thank goodness for that, because we can really use our sleep."Iris, in conclusion, "With a good storage system, Nora's room is easier to tidy and clean. Going barefoot on a Lego cube has never been my dream. And I would guess the same is true for Tom. I am a designer by profession and in my work I like to think out-of-the-box. But Nora's things I prefer to keep ín such a box."
